Clean Energy for Eternity Inc.
Clean Energy for Eternity Inc (CEFE) is a voluntary not-for-profit incorporated organisation based in the Bega Valley and founded in 2006 by orthopaedic surgeon Dr Matthew Nott. CEFE Inc is a positive catalyst inspiring practical initiatives to address the severe effects of climate change. A key role is to create pathways to community action and to develop high profile renewable energy models for a sustainable future – eg, IMAGINE Tathra Community Solar Farm, a joint venture with Bega Valley Shire Council and the first community owned solar farm in Australia. Since 2006 CEFE Inc is responsible for initiating two residential solar bulk buys in SE NSW, fundraising through 7km Big Swims and numerous local events and more than 100 human signs involving thousands of people in Eastern Australia. CEFE Inc is represented by Chapters in Bermagui and Northern Beaches (Sydney) with a national membership. Clean Energy for Eternity Inc is proud of its long and harmonious association with government at all levels and continues to work hard to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2030.
