Lions Club of Bega Inc
Bega Lions is a group of service-minded men and women who volunteer to support the community. Often in association with other organisations, our members enjoy working together to improve everyday lives.
Bega Lions was founded in 1960 and has been proudly serving the Bega community ever since. Some of our current and past projects include:
* Christmas rooftop street decorations in association with Bega District Volunteer Rescue.
* Bega River shared pathway.
* Bega skate bowl and Bega District Netball's clubhouse completed in association with Bega Valley Shire Council.
* Lions picnic shelter at the entrance to Bega township.
* Bega bus shelters constructed with financial assistance from a Council grant.
Our Club is also actively involved in fundraising for the Carers' Accommodation project at the Bega South-east Regional Hospital, in association with Community Carers' Accommodation South East.
