Alliance Francaise of the Sapphire Coast
Part of an international network the Alliance Française of the Sapphire Coast is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Franco-Australian exchange and French culture in the Bega Valley Shire, New South Wales. It provides the opportunity for friends of French language, culture, food and tourism to come together in a very welcoming, non-judgemental environment. Please note that you do not need to speak French to become a member of the Alliance Francaise.
We organise activities and events throughout the year, including free movie nights, regional lunches and dinners, French wine degustations, weekly pétanque games, celebrations around Bastille Day…, etc.
You do not need to speak French to become a member of the Alliance Française. As a member you will receive our monthly newsletters, regular information about upcoming events, special discounts on tickets to some events, borrowing rights at our library corner (Tura Beach), participation in all our social events, social meetings and French conversation sessions “Papotage & Blah blah”.
