Old Bega Hospital Regional Community Cultural Centre
The precinct is open 24/7
The Old Bega Hospital Regional Community Cultural Centre is a community facility in a heritage precinct that was Bega's main hospital from 1888 to 1956. The main building is currently being restored, having been ravaged by fire in 2004. Outbuildings (Nurses’ Quarters, the Morgue, the Operating Theatre, and Laundry, plus a Men's Shed built in 2015) are used as studios, workshops and meeting rooms. The community centre is home to 93.7 Edge FM community radio station, Eagle Rock Lead Lighters, the Bega Valley Potters, the Bega Valley Textile Group, the Bega Valley Beekeepers, the Bega Men's Shed, and CareSouth Foster Care. The meeting rooms and the grounds are available for casual hire. Visit our web site for more detailed information: www.obh.org.au.
