Mission To empower the Bega Valley community to thrive together through a community wellbeing framework based on collaboration, data and action. Objectives: The BVDC has a clear objective that will guide our actions and set our goals into the future. Work alongside Bega Valley residents to define what wellbeing means to our community so that we can measure what matters. Coordinate the development of a framework that measures progress across key social, environmental, and economic wellbeing indicators. Empower residents with access to relevant data and insights to advocate for positive change in their communities. Enable community organisations, government agencies, and individuals to achieve shared wellbeing goals through the provision of data. Advocate for the access to local data that is not currently available. Ensure the framework is a dynamic tool, adapting to the evolving needs and aspirations of the Bega Valley. Create income streams from data services that will build a sustainable financial platform for future operations of the Bega Valley Data Collective.
