Shoalcoast Community Legal Centre is a not for profit organisation committed to improving access to Legal Advice, Community Legal Education and Law Reform.
Shoalcoast is funded by the State & Federal Govt by the CLC program at Legal Aid NSW and is community manageed. Shoalcoast was estabilshed in 1999. Shoalcoast Mission statement is: To provide an accessible professional service, responsive to the needs of those most disadvantaged and which promotes just and lasting solutions to legal and social issues in our community. Shoalcoast provides free legal services to men and women of the Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Snowy Monaro and Queanbeyan/Palerang Local Government Areas. Shoalcoast is part of a state wide (CLCNSW - www.clcnsw.org.au) and national (CLC Australia - www.clcs.org.au) network of Community Legal Centres, which aim to promote an agenda of social justice, and to work towards fairer legal and social outcomes for those most disadvantaged in our community
