Eden Commuinty Access Centre Inc. is a community based , non-for-profit organisation.
The Eden Community Access Centre Inc. is a community based, not-for-profit organisation, which receives no direct government funding. Established in 2000 as a technology centre providing inexpensive access to technology for the community but have, in response to need, transformed into a Community Hub. We now offer services, programs, advice and advocacy for the Eden Community and the immediate region as well as visitors to Eden. This is achieved with minimal funding, great determination and through the dedication of volunteers. Services such as access to computers, photocopying, faxing, laminating, Wi-fi access, Tax help, help with Mobile Phones, Photographs, printing and completing forms, computer support, including lessons and programs. We also provide agency services for Department of Human Services including Centrelink, Department of Housing and Australian Taxation Office. We conduct computer programs for seniors, disabled, youth and disadvantaged people. We also provide space and equipment for Family and Community Services, Job Providers, Katungal Aboriginal Health Service, FSC Family Support and Shoalcoast Legal service. We also produce a Community Newsletter and administer a Local App.
