An application has been received to develop land at Rawlinson Street, Bega for the purpose of demolition of the existing single Dwelling House and Construction of a Mixed Residential Development including a Residential Flat Building (28 Dwellings) and Multi Dwelling Housing (21 Dwellings) and 2 Boarding Houses (12 Bedrooms) with Lot Consolidation and Associated Works in 2 Stages.


Council has received an application seeking approval to develop land as follows:

  • Consent Authority: Southern Regional Planning Panel
  • Description of Land: Lot: 3 DP: 1187097 and Lot: 2 DP: 516738 – 108 and 114 Rawlinson Street, BEGA
  • Description of Proposal: Demolition of the existing single Dwelling House and Construction of a Mixed Residential Development including a Residential Flat Building (28 Dwellings) and Multi Dwelling Housing (21 Dwellings) and 2 Boarding Houses (12 Bedrooms) with Lot Consolidation and Associated Works in 2 Stages.

The application and plans relating to the development are available on Council’s website Application Tracker at www.begavalley.nsw.gov.au, for a period of 28 days from 22 November 2024 to 20 December 2024 (excluding Public Holidays).

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, copies of your submission can be made publicly available. You can request that your name and address not be disclosed by writing ‘OBJECTION IN CONFIDENCE’ on your submission, however we may still be obliged to release these details. Submissions that do not contain the author’s name and address may not be considered, as we will be unable to validate their authenticity.
