Bega Valley Shire Council is offering a limited number of free introductory Mentoring Advisory Panel (MAP) Institute scholarships to local small business owners, in recognition of Small Business Month (October).
Acting Economic Development Manager, Alison Vandenbergh said the MAP Institute specialises in advanced support for business leaders by providing mentoring and advice in a group setting, facilitated by an experienced Chair.
“As panel members, business owners will become connected, solve their business challenges, improve productivity, boost performance and profit, and keep their fellow panel members accountable to achieve their goals,” she said.
“Panel members will need to attend a one-hour session per week for the last three weeks of October. They will also have access to the Navigator, an online resource to use in their own time.
“These interactive sessions will be delivered by video conference and are focused on panel members’ specific business goals.
“Following this introductory scholarship, business owners may choose to continue the program at their own expense.
“If you want to bring the power of boardroom strategic decision-making to your small business, we encourage you to put yourself forward for this exclusive scholarship.”
To apply, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) online. EOIs will be considered up to Friday 9 October.
