Central Waste Facility
The Central Waste Facility (CWF) is Council's only operating landfilling site in the Bega Valley.
Situated outside of Wolumla on Wanatta Lane, the CWF receives the shire’s kerbside and commercial landfill waste and is also the site of an emergency waste landfill cell constructed in 2020.
The CWF accepts loads over 3 cubic meters arriving by truck or tipping trailer only, and is only open to account holders.
For eligible account holders, the site is open 8am – 4pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 2pm on public holidays.
