Family event for National Child Protection Week

In recognition of National Child Protection Week (3-9 September), Council’s Brighter Futures team will host a Family Fun in the Park event on Wednesday 6 September from 10.30am to 1pm in Littleton Gardens, Bega.

In recognition of National Child Protection Week (3-9 September), Bega Valley Shire Council’s Brighter Futures team will host a ‘Family Fun in the Park’ event on Wednesday 6 September from 10.30am to 1pm in Littleton Gardens, Bega.

An educational, interactive and all-inclusive Circus Play Space will be set up by Amethyst Flame Entertainment.

The Circus Play Space is a learning and creative experience where children will participate in games, fitness, hoop structures, circus skills, juggling, bubbles and more!

There will also be a sausage sizzle, craft activities, face painting, interactive art activities, puzzles and goody bags from the Bega Valley Shire Library with a free book courtesy of Big W, Bega.

A number of services will also be in attendance including Council’s Brighter Futures program, Sapphire Coast Neighbourhood Services, Campbell Page, Bega Valley Family Day Care, Mission Australia, South East Women and Children’s Services, PCYC, Playability and Southern Cross Housing Services.

National Child Protection Week promotes a safe and supported life for every child, now and into the future.
