During August 2022, a series of pop-up sessions were held at libraries across the shire to support young people transform their ideas into Future Shaper project proposals.
Have an idea for improving life in the Bega Valley shire for young people?
Need some help getting it down on paper?
Future Shaper Pop-Ups are for young people aged 12 to 24 with ideas for shaping a better future for young people in the Bega Valley shire.
Bring your idea along to a session at your local library where Cal Champagne, Bega Valley Youth Resilience Officer and Jade Short, Co-founder of Soulcube will take you through a fun design process.
In one afternoon, Cal and Jade will lead a one-on-one cutdown version of the recent Future Shaper camp workshop and help you pull together a simple proposal to express your project idea clearly and simply.
We’re keen to connect with young people who may not have made it to the Bega Valley Youth Forum or the Future Shaper Camp, but who still want to express their ideas.
No need to book, just pop-in!
Each Pop-Up session will run from 4pm to 6pm, with afternoon tea served. Choose your Future Shaper Pop-Up:
