The Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre is located in the heart of the Bega Valley’s central business district and cultural precinct. The Civic Centre offers corporate clients and the community a first-class conference and event facility complemented by contemporary style, comfort and attention to detail. It is a multi-purpose facility with the ability to accommodate a wide variety of events and functions with a holistic event management service.

Balawarn Meeting Room 1

Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre Bialawarn Meeting Room 1.

Max 18 people

Small meeting room which can be joined to create a larger space, equipped with display screens for presentations, capacity of 18 people or when joined with Balawarn Meeting Room 2 can accommodate up to 33 people.

Max 15 people

Small meeting room which can be joined to create a larger space, equipped with display screens for presentations, capacity of 15 people or when joined with Balawarn Meeting Room 1 can accommodate up to 33 people.

 

Balawarn Meeting Room 1+2

Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre Balawarn Meeting Rooms 1 and 2.

MAX CAPACITIES: Theatre 30 pax; Boardroom 20 pax

Located on level 1, small meeting rooms which can be joined to create a larger space, each equipped with display screens for presentations, capacity for room 1 is 18 people and room 2 is 15 people, joined together up to 33 people.

 

Biamanga Foyer

MAX CAPACITIES: Theatre 100 pax; Cocktail 120 pax; Banquet 60 pax
 

Ideal for product launch, cocktail events, private social functions and entertainment events. Located on level 1 the foyer area is a hireable space when its use will not interfere with bookings in the Biamanga Room. Full glass on outer walls with panoramic views and a generous balcony serviced by bar/kitchenette.

MAX CAPACITIES: Theatre 120 pax; U-shape 33 pax; Cabaret 56 pax (7 per table); Banquet 80 pax; Cocktail 100 pax; Classroom 45 pax + 1 facilitator

Used weekly as the Bega Valley Shire Council Chambers (Wednesdays), this large and well-appointed room is also available for hire by the public and is ideal for larger meetings, workshops and seminars. Located on level 1 with easy access to the Biamanga Foyer, generous balcony with panoramic view, dedicated audio visual system with a capacity of 91 people.

 

Gulaga Foyer

Ideal for cocktail events, product launches, private social functions and entertainment events. Located on the ground floor, main entrance foyer and serviced by the Diggers bar.

 

Gulaga Room

MAX CAPACITIES: Theatre 120 pax; U-shape 33 pax; Cabaret 56 pax (7 per table); Banquet 80 pax; Cocktail 100 pax; Classroom 45 pax + 1 facilitator

Ideal for information forums, seminars, workshops, small cabaret style performance space. Auditorium floor area can be sectioned off to create a separate space for room hire. Capacity of 84 people.

 

Merri-winga Auditorium

Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre Merri-winga Auditorium.

MAX CAPACITIES: Theatre 500 audience + 50 cast/crew; Cabaret 161pax (7 per table); Banquet 230 pax

Ideal for performing arts, presentation events, banquet dinners, exhibitions, social dance events, graduations and formals, large weddings. Ground floor accessed from Gulaga Foyer. Stage with two dressing rooms backstage, stage access from goods lift and loading dock, state of the art sound and lighting and multi-function space.

No. In-house catering can be provided.

Littleton Gardens and car parking area is directly in front of the venue. Three (3) hour parking 8:30am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday & 8:30am - 12:00pm Saturday with easy access to the front entrance. Parking is also available at Gipps Street which is a short 5 minute stroll away.
