Bega Valley Shire Council has developed a Draft Coastal Zone Management Plan for Pambula Lake Estuary.
Council’s Coastal Management Officer, Kyran Crane, said this is a great opportunity for people to read about the proposed management plan of this highly valued and scenic estuary.
“This plan identifies all the values and threats of Pambula Lake and suggests short, medium and long term actions for the estuaries management.
“The aim is to have a long term strategic vision for the estuary and catchment, and to have achievable goals which can lead to the better estuary management and overall estuary health,” Mr Crane said.
The draft plan will be on public exhibition from Thursday the 4th of June 2015 until Tuesday the 2nd of July 2015.
Copies are available from the Bega Valley Shire Council Office, the four shire libraries and on our website.
