Exhibition of Council's Disability Inclusion Action Plan

In accordance with the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014 Council has prepared a draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan.

About this Plan

The draft plan includes principles, strategies and actions to guide Council operations over the next four years and focuses on:

  • Developing positive community attitudes and behaviours
  • Creating liveable communities
  • Supporting access to meaningful employment
  • Improving access to mainstream services through better systems and processes

The draft plan is on public exhibition for 28 days from 18 May until 14 June 2017 and is available on Council’s website, Bega office and all Council libraries.

Submissions to the draft document are invited and all submissions received during the exhibition period will be considered by Council before the documents are adopted.
