This is the section for staff to refer to in developing project specific community engagement plans. It provides a detailed list of communications (information delivery) and community engagement (information exchange) tools for staff to use in developing their plans.

To change the way people think and respond upon receiving information from or about our organisation requires us to know our community and what they want in terms of communication. With this in mind we can match our actions as communicators to people and their needs. The actions outlined in this strategy will take us to the point where the things we say are heard, digested, responded to and shared. This allows us a point of entry into the emotions of people who come across information about Council.
