A new e-services tool has been launched this week on Bega Valley Shire Council’s website that allows for the tracking of Development Applications and Complying Development Certificates.
Bega Valley Shire Council now offers a new service to customers whereby applications can be tracked online, from lodgement right through to decision.
Visitors to Council’s website can now search applications that have been submitted to Council since 1 January 2016.
“We believe the online tool will be very useful for anyone who has submitted an application or for those interested in the progress of developments in their local area, and to keep up-to-date with how the application is being considered by Council,” Group Manager for Planning and Environment, Mr Andrew Woodley said.
The Application Tracker enables people to check the progress of their application 24 hours a day, seven days a week, without having to telephone or visit Council.
“You will also be able to see information relating to Complying Development Certificates which may be issued by Private Certifiers,” Mr Woodley said.
The online system provides mapping, an overview of the progress of applications and provides information about applications on exhibition and includes a copy of the final Notice of Determination.
Submissions to applications can also be made online through the Application Tracker.
