By 2030 the Bega Valley will achieve the following Key Directions of Council:

  E1 has an increased business capacity generating ongoing economic development
  E2 has expanded tourism business opportunties taking full advantage of other marketing and promotion opportunities such as through alignment with Australia's Coastal Wilderness brand and local provider frameworks.
  E3 supports traditional industries in forging new futures: - farming, fishing, forestry.
  E4 has a strong regional centre and vibrant district centres.
  E5 has employment opportunities and a labour-ready workforce.
  E6 fosters innovation and has a reputation for its commitment to new and emerging industries.
  E7 has the infrastructure to support community and current business growth and has future development including communication technology, appropriate energy infrastructure and transport and freight services.
