  • Description of Proposal:  Designated development – Extractive Industry (Sand & Topsoil). The applicant has provided additional information, including details to change the staging of Pit 1.

Any person may make a written submission during the exhibition period.  If you would like to comment on the proposal please write to us before close of business on the 5 July 2013

Any person who makes a submission by way of objection may appeal to the Land and Environment Court under Section 98 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 if they are unhappy with the decision.

If the Planning Assessment Commission conducts a review, the Minister’s determination of the application is final and not subject to appeal.

Under the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 this development is classed as Designated Development.

It is also classed as ‘Integrated Development’ which means that approval is also required from;

Environment Protection Authority

  • An Environment Protection Licence (EPL) is required in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.
