Valuing Volunteers with Bega Valley Meals on Wheels Plus

At Bega Valley Meals on Wheels Plus we value our many volunteers and wish to show our gratitude at a get together during National Volunteers Week. We will have volunteers from our many programmes briefly sharing their volunteering experience with invited guests.
A group from U3A Sapphire Coast will also be in attendance. U3A is the University of the Third Age sharing learning experiences in many and varied ways.
We would love to see you in Bega. Come and join us for a delicious morning tea.

Television celebrity and comedian Denise Drysdale will MC the event. Cost is $50 per person, for a two course dinner menu, games, entertainment, cake and coffee. Menu is gluten-free.
The Dinner is to launch a new incorporated community association, "Community Carers Accommodation South East Inc", which has been established as a Joint Service Clubs project in the Bega Valley Shire. The association is fundraising for an on-site community accommodation facility, to be built at the South East Regional Hospital, to provide affordable on-site accommodation for carers and relatives of patients while they receive treatment in the new Hospital

Convoy 4 Kids & Families with Cancer

Convoy of Trucks and vehicles through the main street of Bega. The convoy leave North Bega, Bega Cheese at 11.30am. heads through the main street of Bega and ends at the Bega Showground where a Fun Family day will commence of vehicle displays, games activities entertainment and refreshments.
all money raised goes to Convoy 4 Kids and Families with Cancer ACT- Monaro
Eden Whale Festival
Saturday 02 November 2013 ALL DAY EVENT
The Festival will be on the Saturday, starting with parade at 10.30.
Events and displays will be held for the week leading up to the festival. Parade starts off in the shopping area of Eden then down to the wharf where there will be lots of educational displays, music, local produce, stalls and more. Lots of fun for the whole family.
